Cameron Nave, Commercial Banker, CrossFirst Bank | Cameron is a Commercial Banker at CrossFirst Bank in Leawood, KS. In his role, Cameron is responsible for applying his expertise to assist small to lower-middle market organizations and businesses achieve their financial goals. Cameron prides himself on helping his clients with innovative solutions and the development of sound financial strategies to help grow and support their businesses. He leverages a broad network of industry professionals to connect community and business leaders with the right people and processes to attain these goals.

Born and raised in Kansas City’s Northland, Cameron has spent 8+ years at various financial institutions. He has experience in retail banking, loan operations, credit underwriting/monitoring, portfolio and relationship management. Throughout this time, he has developed relationships with various entities in the homebuilding, residential/commercial construction, manufacturing, financial services, and professional services industries.

Cameron currently serves as Planning Commissioner for the City of Gladstone, MO, Membership Co-Chair for the Emerging Leaders Council of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and is a Certified Master Gardener with the University of Missouri Extension.

He received his Bachelor of Science in International Business from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN. Cameron is an alumnus of Liberty High School in Liberty, MO. He currently resides in Gladstone, MO. In his free time, he enjoys attending live music, exploring new restaurants, traveling to new destinations, and is an avid outdoorsman.


Theodis Watson, Director, Community Development, CrossFirst Bank | Theodis is the Director of Community Development for CrossFirst Bank. Theodis is responsible for creating programs that will increase lending in areas of affordable housing, and small business, that will ultimately create an impact in the communities they serve. He has achieved success as a leader in the financial services industry by leveraging his strengths in the areas of business development, collaboration, leadership, and teamwork.

Theodis’ 20+ years in the financial services industry have been divided between Springfield, MO and Kansas City, MO. Through his community outreach and commitment to the industry, he is known as the “Communities Banker” because he served an array of diverse communities from low-to-moderate income to Kansas City’s most elite clientele.

He currently is the incoming national president of the Urban Financial Services Coalition, Immediate Past Board Chairman of earlystART, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, and Board member of the Prospect Business Association.

Theodis, a native Kansas Citian, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication and Public Relations from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix in Kansas City, MO. A true Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan. He has three children, one of which is a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University with his beautiful wife, Evonne of 12 years.
