CLC and FMI: Effective Communication

Communication is a key part of how we lead and operate every day. Leaders constantly connect with employees, develop and coach rising leaders, and address challenges when they arise. Great communication involves both listening and speaking and is one of the strongest tools leaders can use to plan, organize, lead, direct and motivate. In this highly interactive session, participants will gain an understanding of the techniques they can use to sharpen their skills to increase work efficiencies through feedback, asking the right questions and appropriately addressing difficult conversations. Participants will:

  • Assess their strengths and opportunities in communicating by learning methods for improving in each area
  • Learn to develop more effective questions to elicit valuable and useful information as a leader and coach
  • Skillfully implement effective listening actions and techniques
  • Learn a framework for approaching hard conversations in a constructive way to preserve relationships and also address key problems or issues

Food and Drinks will be provided.
