The Builders announces finalists for 2026 Building Excellence Awards

The prestigious, biennial awards program honors top projects and initiatives by members of The Builders, a chapter of the AGC

KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 24, 2026 – The Builders, a chapter of the AGC, will announce the winners of the Building Excellence Awards live June 4, 2026, during an event taking place in Kansas City, Missouri.

This prestigious awards ceremony honors outstanding companies in The Builders for their efforts in advancing the industry, innovation, community impact and construction projects demonstrating the pinnacles of excellence. The program will feature 13 categories of award winners and runners-up for each category.

The award categories in 2026 include:

• Project of the Year by a General Contractor or Construction Manager (seven size categories)
• Project of the Year by a Subcontractor (three size categories)
• Advancing the Industry Award
• Innovation Award
• Community Impact Award
